4.ARE ANTI-WRINKLE AND DERMAL FILLER INJECTIONS THE SAME?
A common misconception is that the same product is used to relax muscles that cause frown lines and wrinkles that’s used to create a more prominent pout, but in fact they are two very different types of injectables. Anti-wrinkle injections contain small amounts of botulism toxin type A (BTX-A) being administered into specific areas of the face and neck to weaken the muscle movement, preventing the muscles from contracting to form the wrinkle. Dermal filler injections contain a synthetic form of hyaluronic acid, found in skin naturally, that is injected into areas where there is volume loss. The hyaluronic acid attracts water and temporarily fills the void, re-volumising the face and hands.
5.HOW OFTEN DO I NEED ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS?
How often you need anti-wrinkle injectable treatments varies from person to person, but in most cases, we recommend treatments every three to four months.
